Sean Raquet has more than 20 years of experience in corporate recovery and litigation services providing litigation support, forensic accounting, fraud investigations and bankruptcy consulting for several industries. His bankruptcy consulting includes providing financial and related advisory services to unsecured creditors committees, debtors-in-possession and both Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 Trustees. He has assisted Trustees and their counsel with forensic and fraud investigations.
Raquet’s litigation support experience includes cases involving accounting malpractice, matrimonial and shareholder disputes, as well as assisting fiscal agents and receivers in monitoring and overseeing various companies. These industries include real estate, automobile dealerships, medical practices, retail, music, restaurant and fast food and service companies.
Raquet earned a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting and graduated magna cum laude from The College of New Jersey. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), where he served on the Political Action Committee’s Board of Trustees. In addition, he is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a current member of both the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Turnaround Management Association.
A former NJSCPA Board of Trustees member as well as a past chairperson of the Young CPA’s Committee at the NJSCPA. He is a past member of both the Succasunna Lions Club and the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce.
